Shamba Technologies is a renewable energy technology company based in Tanzania and the UK. We design our products from the ground up coming up with innovative solutions for the 115 million families in Africa without power. Our work has spanned bioenergy solar dehydration fuel briquettes and for the last 18 months we have been exclusively focused on solar photovoltaics.rnrnWe are a small agile team who believe that energy poverty in the developing world should be tackled head on by the provision of high quality low cost products sold at a profit. Our team is dedicated to combining the best of high technology with the depth of practical understanding gained by living in rural East Africa.
