Coastal Enterprises Inc. (CEI) is a community development financial institution that provides financing to micro small and medium enterprises affordable housing and communities facilities in order to create income employment and ownership opportunities for low income people and communities. Since inception CEI has provides $958 million in capital to 2251 projects that created/retained 27181jobs and created 1483 units of affordable housing. CEI funds have leveraged an additional $2.44 billion in other capital. CEI aggregates capital from a variety of public and private sources and deploys it in the community through a variety of debt equity and tax credit products.
