Youth also learn leadership and entrepreneurial skills and visit tech companies to learn about careers in tech. Founded in 2012 Hack the Hood is a non profit project of The Center for Media Change a 501c3. In 2012 we launched in Oakland and we are now expanding around the Bay area.
