Born in the mountain ranges of British Columbia Canada Nomad Nutrition is the culmination of a lifelong pursuit of wild places and good food. Founder Denis Mikhailov an avid climber spent years looking for the best food to fuel his body and his adventures. Moving from vegetarianism to raw veganism he eventually settled on a paleo style diet learning about the benefits of each lifestyle along the way. But on trips with little time to prepare Denis often ended up eating uninspiring pre packaged camp meals that didn t do much for his energy levels or his digestive system (we know you ve been there). Then an event made Denis realize that things could be different. Deep in the Bugaboos a chance encounter with a mountain guide and his homemade dehydrated food woke Denis up. He realized that it is possible to make trip food that tastes good and feels good.
