Overview

WAVE (West Africa Vocational Education) is a social enterprise with a mission to increase income for unemployed youth in West Africa by identifying training and placing talented underserved youth in entry level jobs in high growth industries (like the retail and hospitality sector) that double their income. The first WAVE Academy launched in August 2013 in Lagos Nigeria and by 2019 WAVE will empower 25000 ambitious young West Africans annually with the know how and expertise to pursue careers in high growth industries across the continent.
