The public charter schools established in Albany by the Brighter Choice Foundation are based upon some of the top urban schools in the United States with a focus on replicating best practices and proven school models. These schools offer small school settings longer school days and school years high academic and behavioral expectations extensive use of data to inform instruction and school uniforms.
