Cicero Impact Capital creates social and financial impact by combining flexible growth financing & management capacity building expertise from partner organization Cicero Group to unlock growth of profitable small & medium enterprises serving poor and middle class households. Flexible Financing Cicero Impact Capital provides revenue based debt and equity capital to small and medium businesses too large for micro finance and too small for corporate bank lending. A revenue based approach is a simple structure easy to understand and implement self liquidating within a desired time frame and aligns investor and company incentives. Capacity Building In addition to financing we work with our portfolio companies to create a transformation plan and provide consulting services to help implement key changes. We partner with our partner management consulting firm Cicero Group to provide the consulting services. We look to invest in businesses that meet the following criteria1. Proven Business Model & Strong Management Team We look for companies that have already proven their business model and have been in operation for at least two years. 2. Strong Financial Performance We invest in companies that are profitable or breakeven with over $1M USD in annual revenues. 3. Growth Phase We invest in companies that are looking for an investment size of $500K $5M USD to be used primarily as growth capital. We partner with companies in providing consulting services to support this growth.4. Impactful Social impact must be core to company s business model. We define social impact based on the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
