Overview

The Rockies Impact Fund s intended purpose is to create value for investing Limited Partners by identifying and investing in for profit seed and early stage companies that have a measurable social environmental or economic development impact with also high potential for value appreciation at market rates and a clear path to a successful investor exit. We believe there is a gap in the impact investing space for early stage investments that the Rockies Impact Fund intends to fill. According to the data most impact investing dollars go to Wall Street and later stage investments rather than to the mid tier cities and intra coastal states where we believe extraordinary innovation is occurring without the financial and mentor support of large coastal investors. The Rockies Impact Fund will invest anywhere in the U.S. but it focuses on local investments in intra coastal communities where the resources are most needed and where the valuations have been shown to be 25% less than coastal investments. Valuations tend to come to parity with coastal companies at exit making intra coastal impact investments are expected to be an excellent opportunity for the Fund.Many funds choose not to address the early stage market because of the high amounts of work required to find deals conduct diligence negotiate mentor and exit these companies. The Rockies Impact Fund is uniquely designed to operate efficiently and effectively at this stage. The Fund has created a network of deal flow decision making and support that is focused exclusively on early stage companies and which can effectively operate at this scale.
