Overview

Slow Money NYC (SMNYC) is a start-up non-profit membership organization. It is a fiscally-sponsored chapter of a national not-for-profit organization, Slow Money, Inc. The group started in January 2011 and expanded its leadership and activities in 2012. They are run by a group of self-nominated volunteers, most of whom have a passion for and deep experience with the good food movement, food businesses, socially responsible investing, food investing and non-profit management.
