Overview

SoftTech VC is an early stage venture capital firm managing seed stage funds SoftTech VC II and SoftTech VC III. Jeff Clavier one of the most active Web 2.0 seed stage investors often dubbed a micro cap VC announced Fund II and its four initial investments at the TechCrunch40 conference in September 2007. SoftTech's funds are backed by a mix of institutional and private investors. In its 4 years of activity SoftTech II has invested in 65 companies some of them still operating in stealth/pre launch mode while others have enjoyed an early exit. SoftTech III just launched and has made 16 investments following a very similar strategy.
