This area includes about 60% of the country s persistently poor counties including large percentages of African Americans Hispanics and Native Americans. As an organization that focuses heavily on building deep and lasting impact in these communities they combine the strengths and services to unify the building blocks of infrastructure and economic development to create vibrant and prosperous communities.
