Overview
Christian Schattenmann is the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer with Bamboo Finance. He leads the administrative, financial and operational management. Before joining Bamboo Finance, Christian worked as Director Finance at PACT, a German based Semiconductor Company. Prior to that, he was Investment Manager at the Venture Capital Group Pari Capital. Over more than 12 years he was directly involved – both on the buy and sell side – in structuring and implementing a wide range of financing instruments. Previously Christian has also worked for an international law firm with assignments in Munich, London and Buenos Aires. In 2003, Christian took a sabbatical to work for The Pangea Project, a non-profit organization promoting sustainable tourism structures in Central America. In the process he developed on-the-ground expertise in working with indigenous communities in Panama. Christian holds an MBA from IE Business School in Madrid, a Master of International Law degree from Université Panthéon-Assas in Paris and is a fully qualified lawyer in Germany. He is fluent in English, French, German and Spanish.
