Else Bos

Overview

After her studies of Econometrics at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam Else worked in various positions at ABN Amro and NIB Capital Asset Management. For 20 years she had various functions from accounting to planning & control from consumer banking private banking to operations and IT for asset management. This gave her a great insight in running a financial institution.In 2002 she joined PGGM where she became COO Investments and later CEO and then joined the board of directors. In 2008 the pension fund was split from the implementing organization. The Pension Fund was named PFZW the name PGGM remained with the implementing organization. At PGGM Else Chief Institutional Business became a member of the Executive Committee. Since 2013 Else is Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Executive Committee. In addition to her work for PGGM she has various secondary functions. She is the supervisor of Sustainalytics the IFRS Foundation and the National Opera & Ballet she is also a member of the Monitoring Committee on Corporate Governance.She is a member of the board of ICPM (Rothman International Center for Pension Management) was a member of the board of the United Nations PRI (from 2008 March 2015) and has been a member of the Board of the Pacific Pacific Institute since November 2015 (PPI ).
