Overview

Guergana, native Bulgarian, is the Chief Financial Officer of Felicis Ventures and brings more than 15 years of diverse finance, tax and software experience in the VC industry. Prior to joining Felicis, Guergana was the Director of Finance at Venrock, a premier venture capital firm originally established as the venture capital arm of the Rockefeller family, where she was responsible for the day-to-day management, audit, tax and LP reporting of the firm’s investment partnerships, and was also involved with other operational and compliance aspects of the firm. Previously, Guergana held various finance and accounting roles at Mayfield Fund, SVB Capital and Summit Partners. Her entrepreneurial spirit and drive for efficiencies led her to form and successfully manage her own consulting business earlier in her career, and for nearly four years she provided accounting and software services to a number of venture capital and private equity groups in the Bay Area. Guergana is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the California State Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA). She earned her B.S. in Economics and Industrial Business Management from the University of National and World Economy in Sofia, Bulgaria, and later completed accounting programs at Bentley College and UC Berkeley (with distinction).
