Overview
Jim is a visionary leader and investor in the clean energy industry, currently serving as chief technologist at both the Capricorn Investment Group and at Novus Energy Partners. He was previously a Chief Engineer at GE's Corporate R&D Center and technology leader for a global R&D team in Germany, US, India, & China. Jim championed renewable energy within GE and co-led GE's entry into wind power, serving as chief technologist of the new business. Jim has served on the boards of Powerex, Electric Drive Trade Association, US Offshore Wind Collaborative, Encell Technologies, and fortu GMBH.
