Overview

Kathleen Wright graduated from the University of Illinois. She has been working directly with artisans in the developing world for more than six years. She began this work as the Marketing and Sales Director for Nest, a nonprofit organization that provides microloans, education and training to women artisans in developing countries. While working with Nest, Kathleen witnessed firsthand the need for artisans to have access to the Western Market and became passionate about providing that access as a way to bring sustainable employment and true economic growth to the developing world. Collaborative Group connects multi-national brands like Reef Footwear, Rachel Roy, Feed Projects, J. Crew, Josie Maran Cosmetics and Tom's Shoes to artisans in the developing world in a way that creates impactful employment for the artisans and profitable collaborations for the brands.
