Richard Effress

Overview

Rich has been an entrepreneur operator and investor since 1992. His experience prior to CoastEdge Partners includes serving as COO of a $3 billion alternative asset management firm and Co Founder Chairman and CEO of a publicly traded medical device company. He has also worked in private equity and founded or co founded multiple businesses in the financial services healthcare services telecommunications and real estate industries collectively generating over $700 million of revenue at exit.Rich is a member of Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and serves as a Trustee of the Francis Parker School as well as on its Finance Committee. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania graduating summa cum laude and a MBA from the Harvard Business School where he was a Baker Scholar.
