Overview

Agustin has worked in private equity investments and asset management for more than 15 years. His interest in microfinance started while he was a doctoral researcher on the impact of new technology on microfinance institutions. His experience includesHead of Dalbergia a large family office in Spain which has been very active in direct venture capital and private equity investments in SMEs from various industry sectorsManaging director of the New Business Division at Grupo Zeta one of the largest media groups in Spain. Under his responsibilities he launched and headed the Internet Radio Audiovisual and Mobile operations being responsible for the start up of 6 businesses. He was also in charge of Grupo Zeta's Corporate Development heading the strategy acquisitions and investments activities in the group.Consultant and an auditor for some of the largest financial institutions of Spain at the international firms Accenture and DeloitteAgustin is has taken doctoral courses at the University of Manchester. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management and a degree in Business Administration from Centro Universitario Villanueva (ascribed to Universidad Complutense Madrid).He is also a counsel member of Gerson Lehrman Group (GLG) and a member of the Executive Committee of the Microfinance Club of Spain.
