Overview

In Amra’s own words: “I was initially a volunteer at My Time in its early days and have eventually become its Managing Director. I have led the organisations to double its income since assuming the role in 2009. Having been a Bosnian refugee that fled the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1994, I have a passion for supporting individuals and families that have experienced traumatic events. I have a BSc in Psychology & Criminology, MSc in Forensic Psychology and am a member of the British Psychological Society. I am also an alumni of the Common Purpose Leadership Program and was nominated BAME women of the West Midlands in 2010.”
