Andrew Malk Managing Partner of Malk Sustainability Partners founded the firm after recognizing that even the most astute investors and well managed companies need guidance to leverage environmental social governance management to protect and create value. Andrew has worked with over 30 investment firms representing more than $300 billion in assets under management to design and deliver impactful ESG strategies. Andrew has earned the trust of MSP s clients by building long standing partnerships based on a two part commitment first pursuing client goals with a fierce sense of urgency and second delivering reliably.Andrew is a recognized ESG expert and his views are sought by industry publications such as Bloomberg/Businessweek The Wall Street Journal Private Equity International Dow Jones Private Equity Analyst Investor Relations Magazine ACG and Responsible Investor. He has presented at SuperReturn IMN s Alternative Investment Summits the Private Equity Growth Capital Council ESG Seminar and Dow Jones Private Equity Analyst Conferences.Prior to founding the firm Andrew led strategy and acquisitions for the Midtown Niki Group a real estate private equity firm. At Midtown Niki Andrew started the firm s Green Finance Program an investment program promoting development of high performing greener buildings. Before joining Midtown Niki Andrew built the business development group at Entrisphere a telecom start up bought by Ericsson. Andrew began his career at the World Resources Institute a globally respected environmental think tank and leader in sustainability and climate change issues.Andrew is a member of the Private Equity Working Group of the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) initiative and a content contributor to the American Investment Council. He is also a sustainability advisor to various Stanford University departments.Andrew holds a B.S. and M.S. in Environmental Science and M.B.A from Stanford University. He also holds GRI Sustainability Reporting Certification.Andrew was born in South Africa where he developed a childhood passion for conservation. Andrew lives with his wife and two daughters in La Jolla California.
