Carlos Ibarra

Overview

Carlos joined WCCN after working at the largest microfinance lender in the United States, Accion Texas Inc. as a Senior Business Loan Underwriter. He brings to WCCN his experience analyzing credit for small and medium size businesses and providing training and consulting to other organizations as part of Accion’s Micro Loan Management Service. Prior to Accion Texas, Carlos, worked at Wells Fargo Bank where he advised homeowners whose mortgages were in distress or default with their options for home retention and assisted in the modification of their mortgages. Carlos also started and managed a successful casual restaurant in San Antonio, Texas, where he developed the brand and concept. Carlos’ lending experiences, coupled with his sense of entrepreneurship and cultural sensitivity due to his dual Mexican-American nationality will benefit the microentrepreneurs WCCN serves.
