Overview
Don has extensive experience of the aquaculture industry throughout Asia having worked in Bangladesh, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Timor-Leste and Vietnam, leading multidisciplinary teams on donor-funded (AECID, Danida, EU, ODA/DFID, UNDP, and USAID) aquaculture and fisheries development projects. He has extensive fresh, brackish and marine aquaculture experience with major aquatic species, including tilapia, pangasius, shrimp, seabass and Chinese and Indian carp. Don has designed and constructed hatchery, nursery and grow-out farm systems, and overseen production, aquatic product processing and marketing, research and development, training and extension.
