Overview
Emma is responsible for managing the logistics for Althelia Ecosphere as well as running the London-based office. Previously Emma has worked as a scientific researcher on large mammal conservation projects in Africa and Europe, where she studied elephants, lions and brown bears. She has been involved in a variety of research projects assessing human-wildlife conflict and using modeling to explore population dynamics. She was the lead author of a paper that assessed the Croatian brown bear population and hunting quotas published in the European Journal of Wildlife Research in 2013. Emma has also volunteered with Save the Rhino International and the Chagos Conservation Trust. Emma has an MSc in Conservation Science from Imperial College London and a BSc in Zoology from the University of Durham.
