Overview
Eric Leenson is President of Sol Economics, a firm that builds strong links between socially responsible enterprises throughout the Americas, focusing on Cuba for the past 6 years. He has been a socially responsible investment and business leader for more than 30 years, previously serving as the CEO of Progressive Asset Management. Currently he serves as the international coordinator “Socially Responsible Enterprise and Local Development in Cuba”. This project seeks to expose Cuban policy makers and entrepreneurs to the best practices of responsible enterprise as Cuba transforms its economy to increase participation of the private sector while retaining its commitment to the social achievements of its revolution. Additionally he serves as strategic advisor to Forum Empresa, based in Panama City Panama, an organization he cofounded as well as being a member of the International Advisory Board of Instituto Ethos of Brazil. He is a graduate of the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs of Princeton University. He earned his MBA from the University of California, Berkeley and studied at the University of Chile on a Fulbright Scholarship.
