Overview

Mr. Cooke is a global industry leader and CEO of Cooke Aquaculture, a successful family company with deep roots in Atlantic Canada and a history of contributing to their community. Glenn has received many business and community awards over the years and was given an Honorary Doctorate by the University of New Brunswick in 2011. Together with his brother Mike and father Gifford, Glenn founded Kelly Cove Salmon - which later became Cooke Aquaculture in 1985 - with 5,000 Atlantic Salmon smolts and two cages on the Bay of Fundy in New Brunswick, Canada. Today, Cooke Aquaculture is the largest salmon farming company in North America and is recognized as an industry leader in innovation and responsible farming. Cooke Aquaculture is a vertically integrated company and its various divisions allow the company to control quality and costs from egg to plate. This include freshwater hatcheries, seawater farms, processing facilities, feed plant, research and development, fish health services, net and cage manufacture and repair, trucking, sales and marketing and seafood distribution.
