Guillaume Maillard

Overview

Guillaume has 10 years’ experience in finance (structuring private equity funds, deal origination, mergers and acquisition with Lazard and Natixis (2002-2003 and 2007-2008) and auditing with Ernst & Young (2003-2005)). Guillaume spent five years with La Compagnie Benjamin de Rothschild (CBR) before transitioning to Moringa in 2013. With CBR, he executed several fund raisings for European cleantech companies, before participating in the structuring of several private equity funds with strong environmental and social focuses. In particular, he participated in founding and creating BeCapital, a € 148 million European cleantech fund co-developed with Cobepa (Belgium), and structuring Moringa for CBR. He worked on defining strategies, recruiting investment teams, legal and tax structuring, and organising and structuring deals.
