Overview

Jess Yuen is an expert in policy, economic development and social innovation with diverse experience in both philanthropic and governmental operations. Previously, Ms. Yuen served as the Director of Strategic Initiatives for the Price Family Charitable Fund and as a Policy Advisor for the White House Office of Social Innovation and Civic Participation. As a Policy Advisor, she supported the creation of the Impact Economy Agenda, with a particular focus on understanding and mitigating barriers faced by social entrepreneurs. She examined how public policy at the Federal level can create an enabling environment to increase impact investing and scale social and hybrid enterprises. Ms. Yuen earned her B.A. in Anthropology and Political Science from Wellesley College and received her J.D. from George Washington University Law School.
