Overview
Matthew Brewer is Founder of Ceiba Forestry. He will be focusing on the production and procurement of biomass feedstocks, directing project design and implementation for Ceiba in Latin America. Mr. Brewer was one of the founding members of the Eco Ventures Group, a start-up dedicated to eco-friendly minerals recovery, biodiesel production, as well as biomass and biofuel crop production in Florida and Panama — integrating oil crops, biomass crops, fast-growth timber species and bamboo for continuous biomass production. To date, Mr. Brewer has administered or consulted directly with forestry projects in ten Latin American countries, and in Panama he originated an FSC Chain-of-Custody forest operation with teak and other native species.
