Overview
Michael Faye is co-founder and Executive Chairman of GiveDirectly. He is also the CEO of Segovia Technology, which is building cloud-based solutions for the management of some of largest emerging market social programs. He has worked in financial products and enterprise technology in the emerging markets in a variety of contexts: as an Associate Principal at McKinsey, at the United Nations Millennium Project and during his PhD in Business Economics. His work has been published in the American Economic Review, Brookings Papers on Economic Activity, among others, and in 2013, Foreign Policy named him one of its 100 leading global thinkers.
