Overview
Morgan was inspired to start Colibrí after striking up a conversation with the napping man next to her on a bus from Managua to Boaco, Nicaragua, in an on-a-whim attempt to convince him to sell solar lamps. She was implementing a green technology lending program for a microbank at the time and witnessed challenges in reaching last mile populations. Colibrí grew out of her passion for financial and technological inclusion. Morgan has brought Colibrí to the attention of early-stage funders such as the D-Prize and First Round Capital-backed Dorm Room Fund. Beyond Colibrí, she enjoys traveling and singing. She received a BA in Economics and International Relations from Tufts University in 2015.
