If I were to provide you with a sanitized professional resume you d feel the insincerity. I retired at 26 with a one way ticket to Asia and vagabonded around the world for two years. Then I restored a classic wood sailboat threw my engineering career at Intel Corp to the wind and cruised around the Pacific for six more years. On blue water all that exists is light wind and waves. Thoughts dissolve into an ocean of felt experience. The wind vane and the trimtab steer the ship. There s a rhythm that almost feels informed by the consciousness of the crew.
