Overview

If I were to provide you with a sanitized professional resume you d feel the insincerity. I retired at 26 with a one way ticket to Asia and vagabonded around the world for two years. Then I restored a classic wood sailboat threw my engineering career at Intel Corp to the wind and cruised around the Pacific for six more years. On blue water all that exists is light wind and waves. Thoughts dissolve into an ocean of felt experience. The wind vane and the trimtab steer the ship. There s a rhythm that almost feels informed by the consciousness of the crew. Beneath the moon in the salty breeze the feeling of home moves over you like waves. Why can t the average house feel like this? Why these rigid boxes that separate rather than connect us to the earth ourself and one another? My brother and I started building a home for his family and began to really do our own thinking... How does nature build protective shells? Why do natural sanctuaries feel so good? Geoship was founded on the idea of what home could be. What sort of structures will humans choose to inhabit as environmentally and socially conscious beings of the future? We re working with flow to bring a new and ancient archetype of home to life. We have the opportunity to positively transform our economy. To change how we value the relationships between systems people and things. To make living and working together more original. How we connect. How we build community. How we do business. How we discover new worlds. Geoship is at the very beginning of it s voyage. We're reaching out to scientists artists engineers impact investors and bold community builders to bring the spirit of the information age into physical form. The right angled world we were born into can feel rigid and unnatural to some. It's time for a whole new choice. To dare to be naive. To reconnect with the circle of life and become a trimtab.
