Overview
Mr. Muzaffar Ahmed is a known personality in the Accounting, Banking and Financial Sector of Bangladesh. Serving many national and multinational companies, Mr. Ahmed pioneered many institutions in the country. He floated the first ever multinational credit rating agency in the country and is the President and CEO of the company. Mr. Ahmed is a Fellow of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh. He served the Institute as Director for quite long time and also in the Council of the Institute in various capacities. Internationally Mr. Muzaffar Ahmed is a member of the Board of Directors of Association of Credit Rating Agencies in Asia (ACRAA). He is also the Chairman of the Training Committee of ACRAA. As part of CRISL training wing, he imparted many training programs in different banks, financial institutions as well as different institutes. Mr. Ahmed was honoured by the Financial Mirror Award in 2004 and also in 2010 for his outstanding contribution to the financial service sector development of Bangladesh. Mr. Ahmed is a strong believer of Islamic economy/ banking system and a researcher on the subject. He is a well travelled person and has good number of publications to his credit.
