Oystein Evensen
Overview
Oystein trained as a veterinarian and obtained a PhD in Pathology from the Norwegian School of Veterinary Science. His work has focused on fish diseases, diagnostics and research on vaccine development for aquaculture since 1988. Before joining Fish Vet Group, Oystein spent seven years in the pharmaceutical industry as VP of the Animal Health Division of Alpharma. He is also a Professor of Fish Pathobiology at the Norwegian University of Life Science. His main research interest and activities are focused on virus infections of Atlantic salmon and host-pathogen interactions
