Saima Hassan

Overview

Ms. Saima Hassan is a development professional. For last five years she has been working with various civil society organizations with DRR Relief WASH and Land Rights as key focus. She successfully mobilized women in various districts of Sindh Pakistan and ensured grant of government land to them and 45000 women have been granted government land through this process. Saima Hassan through its strong leadership in relief actions ensured relief to more than 40000 households in different districts of Sindh and Balochistan provinces of Pakistan during the floods of 2010 2011 and 2012. She has successfully trained civil society government authorities in different districts on DRR and disaster planning which even culminated in the formation of district level DRR groups and district disaster management plans etc.
