Samuel Keller

Overview

Samuel Keller is CEO if Ceiba Forestry. He is a senior executive with over 18 years of experience developing, financing, and leading sustainable businesses. Prior to joining Ceiba, Mr. Keller played a pivotal role in establishing the international presence of one of North America’s most successful solar development firms, Recurrent Energy. As the Director of International Development from 2009 to 2012, Mr. Keller forged the firm’s go-to-market strategies for Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Mr. Keller also served on the leadership team that sold the firm to Sharp Corporation for $305 million. Previously Mr. Keller was a Projects Officer at the International Finance Corporation (i.e., private sector arm of the World Bank Group), where he received multiple awards for sourcing, structuring, financing, and managing innovative environmental projects in emerging markets. Mr. Keller worked closely with electric distribution companies in Peru and Argentina to achieve cost savings through demand side management. He also oversaw multi-million dollar investments in companies promoting non-timber forest products, organic agriculture, ecotourism, and sustainable fishing.
