Overview
Sara is very passionate about developing and implementing affordable energy-efficient technologies and renewable energy resources, especially for developing countries. Coming from Lebanon, she has witnessed, experienced and has had to adapt to the struggles of limited water and power resources. I strive for sustainable and affordable innovation that provides environmental and social harmony. She earned a B.S. in General Engineering at Harvey Mudd College. Sara just completed her M.S. & Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at UC Berkeley with an emphasis on thermal sciences applied to energy resources.She and her team at SolWorks have been working together for five years tackling the quest for affordable solar water heating.
