Overview
Inspired by personal experience and the work of mentally disabled activists Sehnaz Layikel dedicated her life to improving Turkey s treatment of people with mental disabilities. In addition to earning an MA in Clinical Psychology from Istanbul Bilgi University she has co authored a report with Mental Disability Rights International on the state of Turkey s psychiatric institutions.
