Aubrie Campbell Canfield


Aubrie Campbell Canfield is the Co-Founder and Executive Producer at Actuality Media, an educational organization that takes emerging filmmakers to developing communities around the world to tell stories about changemakers. Born and raised in Orlando, Florida, Aubrie was home-schooled through her formative years, which taught her from the beginning that there was more than one way do things. Daughter of a cinematographer, she was drawn to the film business at an early age. Aubrie graduated Cum Laude from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Science in Communication. After several years of avidly pursuing a career in Hollywood, she discovered her love of documentary and chose a more rewarding path. With a passion for learning about different sub-cultures, she has traveled through North America, Europe, Asia and Africa for both business and pleasure. With Actuality Media, Aubrie is a proud member of the B Corp community and sits on the advisory board of Oregon State University’s ENACTUS organization, dedicated to student social entrepreneurship.

Candace A Ruiz


Co-Founder and Managing Director of Service and Operations. Her passion for the environment started when she was very young with her love of nature and a desire for a clean world. At Colorado Mountain College she continued her education in Natural Resource Management where her passion for the environment and sustainability grew. She received a Bachelor of Science in Applied Technology and International Enterprise from Metropolitan State College of Denver. Candace held several professional positions through which she developed her business management, financial and operational skills. In 2007, she earned an MBA with emphasis in International Business from Regis University, Denver, CO, and while there coordinated service projects and administration. Presently, she is a part-time business professor at the Community College of Denver.. She is also an active member in the community, including the SVP, AHEC Sustainability Committee, CORE Colorado, South Metro Denver Chamber, Broomfield Civic Orchestra, The Comfort Cafe, and CISV (an international children's peace organization).

For the past ten years, George Overholser has committed himself to the social sector. In 2010, as an Entrepreneur in Residence at New Profit Inc., he co-founded Third Sector Capital Partners. Previously, he founded NFF Capital Partners, a division housed within Nonprofit Finance Fund that has so far helped 16 high-performing nonprofits to secure over $300 million of philanthropic growth capital and continues to operate under the leadership of Craig Reigel. The NFF Capital Partners portfolio has grown its programmatic output five-fold since the investments were made, while also markedly improving metrics of financial sustainability. In 1999, George formed North Hill Ventures, a Boston-based venture capital firm, with $125 million under management, focused on early-stage financial and marketing technology firms. He was a member of Capital One’s founding management team, where he headed up strategy and oversaw the launch of 20 new businesses. George commenced his career as a strategy consultant at Strategic Planning Associates, serving a wide range of Fortune 500 clients. George is a frequent speaker and writer on the topic of innovation in nonprofit sector finance, having been covered in The Wall Street Journal, The Economist, Business Week and New York Times. He graduated from Harvard College with a degree in Physics and a MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business. George focuses on deal construction, rigorous impact evaluation design, and thought leadership at Third Sector.

Joe Aragona is a Co-Founder of Austin Ventures and has served as a General Partner since 1982.
