Dune Lankard
Dune Lankard is a strategic and guiding force for the Eyak Preservation Council. His stances in his community have shown vision and courage, and suffice it to say that they have not always been popular and understood by some. He is ancestrally from, and a lifelong resident of, Cordova. Dune’s Eyak name is Jamachakih, which translates: Little Bird that screams really loud and won’t shut up.The morning he found his homelands covered with oil from the Exxon Valdez disaster he turned from commercial fisherman to dedicated community activist. Since that day, he has been recognized for his abilities to link cultural and environmental solutions. For his work, he was selected by Time magazine as one of its “Heroes of the Planet”. In 2006, he was named an Ashoka Social Entrepreneur Fellow; in 2007, his non-profit business idea for the Cordova Cold Storage and Cookery was awarded a Marketplace Alaska award by the Alaska Federation of Natives. He was recently awarded a Hunt Alternatives Fund-Prime Movers Fellowship: Cultivating Social Capital Award. He sits on boards of the Bioneers, EPC, the NATIVE Conservancy, REDOIL, and the FIRE Fund and on the advisory board of the Seva Foundation and the Alaska Wildlife Alliance. Currently, he is very involved in EPC’s Tribal Copper River Keeper program, Bering Coal Conservation Opportunity, and the Shepard Point campaigns. He is one of EPC’s Copper River Wilderness Raft guides.

Mark Moore
In 2009, Mark Moore learned about RUTF and its impact. Before long, with the help of friends Brett Biggs, David Todd Harmon, Bret Raymond and others, they started MANA Nutrition. Brett Biggs now serves on the board, David Todd leads the MANA operational team and Bret Raymond championed acceptability studies and other efforts in Rwanda before taking his talents to another start up called Pure Charity. CEO Mark Moore spent nearly ten years working in eastern Uganda, serving as a rural community development worker and missionary. After returning to the United States, he earned a Master’s degree at Georgetown University. He has served as Legislative Fellow and Africa Specialist in the United States Senate for Senator Mary Landrieu, as an Africa Analyst for the Science Applications International Corporation, and as Policy Director for the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute. Prior to co-founding MANA, Mark co-founded Kibo Group, a development organization that houses numerous Africa projects.

In 2007 after participating in the World Social Forum in Kenya, Melanie co-developed and produced The Global Summit (2008- 2020) to unite social, economic and environmental movements for a sustainable future. Michael Callahan
Michael Callahan earned a BS in civil engineering and a MSBA in sustainable business. He has studied in Venezuela, and Spain and has helped design and manage energy projects in five West African countries over a period of four years. Following his work in Africa, Mike managed teams of contractors, engineers, and architects to build multi-million dollar construction projects, including the first award winning Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) recreation center in Colorado. At that time Mike became a LEED accredited professional and a licensed professional engineer. As a Sr. project leader at the National Renewable Energy Lab, Mike supports energy efficiency and renewable energy project development and finance internationally and in the US. Under the Energy and Climate Partnership of the Americas (ECPA), Mike is leading the US Department of Energy's technical assistance for the Peruvian Ministry of Energy and Mines to help establish the Peruvian Office of Energy Efficiency. Also under ECPA, Mike is supporting the Peace Corps Energy Poverty Alleviation Initiative in Latin America. Finally, Mike is the cofounder of PowerMundo, a social enterprise operating in Peru to improve people's lives and conserve nature through the deployment of renewable energy technologies.
