Cedric Brown


Cedric Brown is the Managing Partner, overseeing programs and philanthropic partnerships as well as day-to-day operations. He brings over 20 years of experience as an educator and funder, working with the Kapor Foundation, SF Foundation, SF Education Fund, Switzer Foundation, SF Cultural Equity Grants, and Level Playing Field Institute among others. Cedric is the co-founder of the College Bound Brotherhood, which aims to serve 5000 African American young men on the path to a college degree. He has served as a board/committee member of Color of Change.org, Northern California Grantmakers, Funders Committee for Civic Participation, Council on Foundation’s Family Philanthropy Committee, and Bay Area Blacks in Philanthropy. Cedric received an ABFE Emerging Leader in Philanthropy Award and was profiled as a San Francisco Chronicle Changemaker. Cedric holds degrees from the University of North Carolina and Stanford University and executive certificates from Georgetown and Rutgers universities. A native North Carolinian, Cedric practices the diplomatic arts of a Southern gentleman.

Eric Reynolds


Eric Reynolds is a “serial entrepreneur” from USA, was the founder/CEO/Chairman of several companies in the outdoor sports industry. He co-founded and served as CEO/Chairman of Marmot, was the start-up CEO/Chairman of SweetWater, and the founder/Chairman of Nau. These three companies created several thousand jobs, hundreds of millions of revenues, and he and the executive teams raised USD $52 million in capital. Reynolds recently sold virtually all assets and has moved long term to Rwanda where he now resides in Gisenyi on the north shore of Lake Kivu. Femi Oye


Femi Oye, Co founder of SMEfunds began a research in poverty alleviation through enterprise development for SMEs. His experience span through transforming enterprise based ideas to solving economic problems. Led various capacity development programmes that have created thousand of jobs and small business for young people across Nigeria, Benin republic, Nairobi, Ghana and Cameroon.
