Janine Elliott

Janine Elliott has played in the social entrepreneurship space since she was 15 years old. Her experience ranges from human rights organizing to food justice advocacy, and teaching climate science and stewardship to diverse audiences. After earning her GreenMBA from Dominican University of CA, Janine joined forces with classmates Stig Westling, a biochemist and entrepreneur, and Jonathan Mooney, a salesman and consultant, to co-found Skip To Renew. Skip To Renew eases the transition to cleaner, petroleum-independent industrial economies. Its lubricants for heavy machinery are 100% petroleum-free, non-toxic, biodegradable, and made from renewable plant and algae oils. By also recycling the used oils, our goal is to keep the environment clean, maintain healthy communities, and help our customers reduce liabilities while having the most profitable and regenerative impact possible. The company's first product is Re:Cyclist Bike Chain Lube, which is available nationwide. It also develops greases, metalworking oils, and hydraulic fluids for other machinery.
