Richard Lim

Richard Lim focuses on investments in the Internet, mobile, and green technology sectors. Of particular interest to him currently are online advertising technology, interactive entertainment (particularly mobile), and solar opportunities. In the Internet sector, Richard serves on the boards of AdChina, Admaster, Aspect Gaming, Baihe, Baixing, Lashou, LightInTheBox(NYSE：LITB), and Qunar(NASDAQ：QUNR). In the green technology sector, he is on the boards of Seeo and Sierra Solar Power. Prior to GSR, Richard was involved in founding three venture-backed companies (Co-nect, iMarket, and Quickdot) in the United States. He was also an executive at Lotus Development Corporation and the National University Hospital of Singapore. Richard grew up in Singapore. He earned a bachelor’s degree from National University of Singapore and an MBA from Stanford University (Arjay Miller Scholar). Richard is a charter member of the Asia America MultiTechnology Association (AAMA).
