Flavio Ralde Laguna

Flavio Ralde Laguna is an economist and has 19 years of experience in Rural Microfinance. It Postgraduate studies in: Microfinance, Banking Law, Economics Computing, Financial Management, Risk Management and Rural Business Management. He has also been trained in Inclusive Finance Institute in Boulder. He has participated in seminars and internships in Brazil, Uruguay, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador and Canada. He has been invited as Exhibitor at First International Forum on Social and Solidarity Economy, FIEES organized by the government of Montreal in 2011. In 2012, he was Speaker at the FOROMIC, organized by the Multilateral Investment Fund (MIF) in Barbados . 2013 was a panelist in World Solidarity Finance Summit organized by the AMUCSS, INAISE and FOROLAC Networks in Mexico. In October of that year he was Speaker at the Meeting of Rural Finance in Central, developed in Nicaragua. He spent 11 years at the Financial Institution Development oldest Bolivia and was National Head of Credits for 3 years. For 8 years working in PRO-RURAL (the only Bolivian company that develops investment instruments aimed at production-rural, such as sector Venture Capital, Quasi Capital). Has been for two years the National Investment Director of the institution as well as its Executive Director for 4 years.
