Overview
As Director, Business Development at Upaya Social Ventures, Sreejith Nedumpully oversees the organization's LiftUP Project, an incubator program that provides seed-stage equity and business development advisory support to entrepreneurs with the potential to be large-scale employers in extremely poor communities. Sreejith brings to Upaya over 12 years of experience in entrepreneurship and SME promotion, including five years as Co-Founder and Managing Director of ROPE International, a premium brand of natural, handmade lifestyle products from renewable materials. In addition, he was earlier involved with SME incubation initiatives with the TeNeT Group at IIT Madras and Villgro Innovations Foundation. Sreejith started his career with the micro finance program of DHAN Foundation and has been a consultant to Business and Finance Consulting GmbH Zurich, Women on Wings, the Sir Ratan Tata Trust, and Simpa Networks.
