Overview
As a seasoned executive on the front lines of the solar revolution SunPower s president and CEO Tom Werner is helping to drive the disruption taking place across the global energy industry. When he began as SunPower s CEO in 2003 the company had 35 employees and generated $4.5 million in revenue. Today SunPower has more than 8000 global employees and achieved $2.6 billion in revenue for 2015. Werner s deep view of the energy and technology sectors is enhanced from his work on the boards of Cree Inc. Silver Spring Networks and the Silicon Valley Leadership Group. He is also a member of the Marquette University Board of Trustees.
