Overview

The Conservation Fund is the nation’s top environmental nonprofit dedicated to protecting America’s most important landscapes and waterways for future generations. Over the last almost 30 years, we have saved more than 7 million acres of land and water in all 50 states, from the park down the street to historic battlefields, wild areas and favorite destinations of all kinds. A hallmark of our work is our unwavering understanding that for conservation solutions to last, they need to make economic sense. Land conservation work often has economic benefits, whether we're protecting a working forest that provides timber and jobs or saving recreation destinations that attract tourists. TCF works with communities, governments and business partners to achieve this balance of economic and environmental goals. The Conservation Fund ranks among the top 1% of charities nationwide.
