Overview

The BoP Innovation Center develops, learns about and accelerates market-led sustainable innovations in these low-income markets. The Base of the Pyramid (BOP) is the poorest consumer group worldwide. With over 4 billion people, it is also the largest. The BoP Innovation Center enables the development of new business models, encompassing all areas of the supply chain from sourcing and production to new products and services sold on the market. They do this by developing sustainable innovations, capturing and sharing learnings and working to improve the enabling environment. This creates a win-win-win situation, wherein organizations and consumers all benefit.
