Binary Bridge

Binary Bridge creates hi tech solutions for humanitarian medical teams and rural clinics in low resource countries allowing them to serve more people and provide better care than ever before. Tracking patient history is a struggle in developing countries but it is necessary to provide effective care and to help identify preventable illnesses injuries and deaths. Existing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) solutions are complex expensive and rely on a steady internet connection which is not available in rural areas. Other humanitarian solutions have been created during hackathons or rely on inconsistent grant funding and are left unsupported and abandoned. We've created BackpackEMR a portable rugged simple EMR that was designed for remote areas and is technically supported and sustainable through our self funding model. Unlike other solutions our mobile software is fully functional offline and with our custom peer to peer network shares data with other devices w/o the internet. It will also upload data to the cloud when connected where it is accessible via a web interface. BackpackEMR will change the way medical teams serve remote locations helping more people saving costs and providing better care.
