Lot Carlier (1970) has worked in the publishing sector from 1996 to 2008 during which period the primary process of this sector substantially changed from print to multimedia. Lot is a very experienced manager having managed many diverse teams focusing on different platforms e.g. newspapers magazines and websites communities and mobile initiatives and covering all functionalities from sales to editors. During her years as a business consultant to the Board of VNU she was involved in the acquisition and divestitures of multiple companies both as merger and acquisition expert and as a strategic consultant. After that Lot was involved as free lancer in a number of assignments among others as Strategy Director at OMG an online marketing organization prior to co founding Africa Media Ventures Fund in 2010.
