Overview

Manipal University Technology Business Incubator (MUTBI) is an initiative of Manipal University for nurturing and developing innovation and entrepreneurial skills among its faculty and students as well as people of the region. It is one of the 54 TBI's funded by National Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB) Department of Science & Technology (DST) Government of India to promote Innovation driven Start ups in Udupi District established in March 2010.Manipal has more than 15000 students graduating every year and has huge entrepreneurial population in the region . Many of them are keen on starting their own enterprise by exploiting the emerging opportunities. To turn their dream into concrete reality MUTBI will offer much needed infrastructure support and critical mentoring during the first three years of their venture.MUTBI has a synergic fit with the vision of our University by providing an ecosystem for knowledge and wealth creation for personal and social benefits. It will also boost much needed networking among Academic / R & D institutions industries and financial institutions.
